JAMES DONLON is considered one of the world's masters of movement theatre, having performed his original work throughout the United States,
Mexico, Canada, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Italy,
France, Romania, The Czech Republic, and Turkey since 1970. The New York Times has described his work as "an extraordinary blend of skill and lunacy."   Also recognized as a master teacher of movement for actors, he has taught in many leading international theatre conservatories such as the Yale School of Drama, The American Conservatory Theatre, The North Carolina School of the Arts, The National Theatre Conservatory at the Denver Center, Ireland's Gaiety School of Acting, and Mexico City's Bellas Artes.  He was Head of Movement for Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown College, presented residencies for such landmark theatre companies as Luis Valdez' Teatro Campesino, created story boards for PBS Great Performances, and been film movement coach for Oscar winner Kathy Bates, Ben Bratt, and Javier Bardem.  Over the last 37 years he has been a guest artist in over 100 American college theatre departments. His theatre work for two actors, TRUCK DOG, has been translated into Czech and Spanish where it toured Eastern Europe and Mexico.
